PE Cnote Bookshelf Speakers Build
I decided since I am spending so much time in my office lately, I needed to build a better speaker system. Right now it has the polk RM8 surround sound system and they are terrible to say the least.
I will have about $200 total after I have them finished for the speaker build.
Here is an objective review of them from another site and seem very promising:

I also added a 0.22 uf capacitor across L2 based on these results from PE tech forums Cnote Designer Chris P:
Here is before:

Here is after with 0.22uf: It knocks down the 7000hz to 10,000hz hump in the woofer.

Here are some pictures of the build so far:

I used 3/4" 3 layer sound absorber from parts express: https://www.parts-express.com/sonic-...-x-24--260-530

This is the crossover design. It should be a 2nd order on the woofer and 3rd order on the tweeter if my understanding is correct:

I still need to sand it down, drill the 2" hole in the back for the round speaker terminal, and then I am going to cover it in white melamine. I wanted to try this stuff and this gave me an excuse:

I will also be using this to play with sigma studio more by using this Dayton Kernel dsp and 2 in 3 out board (~$30):

This is very similar to what I would like to try which is the ADAu-1466 eval board from analog devices. Justin Zazzi uses it in his home theatre and has really good results. Andy W. also uses sigma studio for his entire car.

Or the 1467 which also has some cool daughter board options....

For whatever reason your google pictures aren't working. Other users of google pictures have had the same trouble in the past. Just shows up as a block with a gray circle in the middle.

If you couldn't see the other images about the 0.22 uf capacitor and the crossover design, here they are.

Just out of curiosity, those that are having issues viewing the pictures, are you using firefox? I just tried that and none of them loaded. Same thing with safari....
So moral of the story...start using chrome ;)

Presently using chrome (still yet to de-google) and was able to view all of the images in post #1, yesterday at 2:30 - at which time I had clicked the corresponding Thumbs Up icon. However, since sometime last night - around the time of Justin's post about unseen images and subsequent attachments - each post #1 image has been replaced by an empty space with a gray circle icon in the middle.
Re: PE Cnote Bookshelf Speakers Build
Interesting. I hate the attachment part because you can only upload 3 at a time and can't rotate to get them to the right orientation :(.
Also, generally, the window size of them requires you to have to click on them....I would love to be able to adjust these things.
On the flipside, I thought the firs post pictures were too big and would have loved to size them down.

Yeah, for some reason, Google doesn't like being linked to. You could probably see it simply because you're logged into your Google Drive. I recommend Imgbox to host pics on.
