It's absolutely amazing to me how some people act like the US is the "bad guy" here. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. If Obama would have done the EXACT same thing, you would not be complaining. That is what they call TDS, my friend. You let your hatred for someone that you've never even met cloud your judgement so badly that you are complaining about taking out a terrorist.
I'm not complaining that someone took out a terrorist. I'm complaining that Trump is abusing his power. Again and again. And it seemed intent on starting a war this time. Might actually have - this is all still developing.

No matter what evidence the Trump administration provided, you still wouldn't accept it.
Have fun with your TDS - I'm done replying to this silly threads that are just meant to bash the Trump administration and the USA. I cannot continue to participate in this garbage. I come here for car audio information, not Trump-bashing. :-) Enjoy.
I'd accept something more than the word of Trump and his leg humpers for starters, but that's all we've gotten so far...assurances.
And nobody's bashing the USA. But one of the good things about living here is that we have a voice and are free to speak our minds about our leadership.

You really are disturbed man. Were you so against O'bama when he directed over 500 drones strikes in Pakistan on low level Taliban fighters without congress approval? I mean Pakistan has nucs for gods sake. Replying to your stupid comments are getting pretty dumb for most of us.

I'm at the point that I think there really is something wrong with you. The articles of impeachment are not crimes. As bogus as they are they are still not crimes

Correction. The Democrats, in the House of Representatives, have accused him of crimes. Not a single Republican voted yes and they are definitely not all Trump's leg humpers, as you put it.

I'm stupid and disturbed because I'm acknowledging what's happening instead of looking away? Or because I disagree with most of what you are saying?

This is what I would call disturbing...a Congress which votes on party lines on such important subjects.

On a side note, how do you feel about the world ending in 12 years...real or fake news?

FWIW, I did not start this thread to bash the Trump administration and the USA.
As I said in an earlier post, "simple fact is, a lot of what the dude in the video(s) said seemed sensible enough and rang true to me, and I thought that some of you-all might care to chime in." If you were to watch those videos, I think you would see that they are not meant to bash the Trump administration and the USA.

Re: "Iran Attacks US Bases: War Hawks Cheer/ Trump to Make Statement"
The White House could provide a video showing Soleimani describing future targets and timetables, but the left would still say Trump was wrong because there is no way to prove that Iran would have actually gone thru with the attacks.
Here's what we know...the US embassy in Baghdad was overrun by a mob. Several Iranian-backed militia leaders were seen directing the mob, including Popular Mobilization Forces commander Hadi Al-Amiri. 3 days later Soleimani flew to Baghdad and met with Hadi Al-Amiri's deputy chief, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis. Soleimani and al-Muhandis were both killed in the convoy of terrorists.
Does anybody on the left even wonder what an Iranian terrorist general was doing in Iraq meeting with leaders of other terrorists groups? Do they even care?

1st I've heard of it. Wouldn't consider it news at all actually. How could anyone know that?

That would be more than sufficient for me. Not to speak for the left, but it would certainly satisfy my curiosity.

You are coming across as a bit of troll again. Just address the points and stop attacking the person, if you want to be taken as a serious adult.

Fake news, as news is usually a post facto thing. Or we have no free will and it is all predestined.

For Allah's sake, Yahweh, or God's sake the outcome is much the same.
Maybe that 12 years is about right and nuc winter would be an "out of the box thinking" way to counteract global warming?

Holmz I can't take you serious until you say where you're from. Why won't you answer that simple question?

Why wouldn't you take someone seriously without knowing their location? That's bananabread.
I used to work here in the good ol USA with some grown men (good Trump supporters at that) who could not sound off the 3 main branches of government.

I don't really care where he is from. I just found it odd he wouldn't answer directly. He said he can recommend good coffee joints in southern cal so I'll just go with that

There are lots of liberals that can't name the 3 branches either. The most frightening thing is seeing all the videos of college students talking politics.

What happened prior to the strike is what everyone wants to know. What was the legal justification. This still has not been explained.
In its 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF), passed with overwhelming support one week after the 9/11 attacks, Congress declared: “The President has authority under the Constitution to take action to deter and prevent acts of international terrorism against the United States.”

...
I am not sure that is 100% accurate.
We had relations with them up until the shaw was deposed and fO'ed to Mexico...Then there was the 52/444 and when we came out of that p, it was no "welcome back Carter"... Ronald was at the helm.
And the deserved sanctions against the theocracy.
They have been allied with Russia, China etc.
How much did Biden-Obama give them and when as it?
The other sort of obvious flaw in this is to somehow totally blame Obama/Biden/HRC, as the mullahs and ayatullahs are running an Islamic republic of a country there. They do not seem like they are puppets of the DNC, but I can see how one may think the inverse.
It is pretty much both the GOP and the DNC that have had on the majority failures with dealing with the country, since the collapse of the Shaw. But to be fair, how is one to deal with a pack of ayatullahs screaming death to America from the pulpit?

Re: "Iran Attacks US Bases: War Hawks Cheer/ Trump to Make Statement"
I meant "billions" in general terms. They sent a pallet with $400 million cash as the first installment of a $1.7 billion dollar settlement that we "owed them".

I don't think so, but then again people give money to stand over men on a regular basis.
I would have less of a problem if the 1.7 B was given in the form of retail price of actual medicines.
What was it that we owed them for?

We didn't owe them. That was their money supposedly that had been frozen for decades under sanctions. The money was from assets frozen in many different countries. Pretty much all countries wanted that money frozen to ensure Iran would not develop a nuclear weaponization program. O'bama in his usual incompetence agreed to give them the money in return for a sham nuclear deal that he knew would allow them to acquire nuclear weapons in 10 years. Now mind you O'bama is not a dumb guy so the question remains, did he actually want Iran to develop a nuclear weapons program? After all, his first official duty was flying to the middle east and apologizing to the various heads of state for the USA's "aggressive policies" from the past.

I don't know this whole story you're referencing, but have a suspicion it's not that simple. Nonetheless, we are where we are. I just hope the twittering naranja in chief learned something from it.
