Re: 98 Civic
I needed to make everything removable and to get to that bolt you have to remove a sub so I used these connectors.

They are very tight

3m adhesive on all the connectors I use. I cut away a bit of plastic and soldered the connector to the sub terminal.

Mounted up and half carpeted. Ran out

The amps. The lid will be hinges. Everything is secured I'm not cleaning it up until I get more carpet. I'm also going to mount to a removable tray so when the box is removed all the wiring can stay.

Re: 98 Civic
I bought the wrong hinges for the amp box so the lid didn't get mounted. Cabinet hinges are complicated!
Speaking of complicated the cup holder for the back seat was to complicated. The fiberglass turned out nice but it seemed really out of place in this older car so I came up with another idea for a simple removable cupholder. I also added a couple USB ports to the back. You know teenagers won't be able to ride around without cords.
Fastened the ports with E6000 and the cupholder with Quiksteel by drilling a few holes to squeeze it through.

Quick connects on the wires

I also was able to get the dash bezel finished and the tablet mounted.

I molded the ram mount permanently. The kid has to use the phone holder or he'll lose the car.

I modded the Dayton remote for this install. Here's the link.
