Call me paranoid, but years ago I damaged a speaker terminal (plastic mount) soldering wires to it, and have never gotten over it.........so I am a fan of the female slip - on connectors. Only thing is, while once upon a time, you could get nice gold plated connectors from multiple sources, now all you can find are the super cheap plain metal ones. Not to mention trying to find large gauge wire into the narrow slide on........I was standing in lowes, looking at the cheapo pot metal clips, when I decided to just solder, and install a higher end connection a lil down the line.........I went to my car, and out of curiosity googled female slide connectors and holy shit......guess what I found, not just on the internet, but two blocks from me! http://i1360.photobucket.com/albums/...pso5ocrzbe.jpg
