I'm not familiar with the material you are using.....or how different it is from hdp......but for mine I just drilled a small pilot hole, and drove in my screws. They have stood up to multiple removals very well........

Then you should be golden with just pilot holes......mine still fully tighten after many removals. I drive them in with my drill on a low torque clutch setting....
Yeah, with HDPE you can drive machine screws straight into pilot holes, use wood screws and pilot holes or drill and tap for machine screws as well. Great choice in material!
A little test fit for screw lengths. Really starting to look like something. Just add carpet and subs.
Screw list:
(4) 1-1/2"
(2) 3-1/2"
(2) 4"
(6) 3"

Eye-balling the cuts to the side liner pieces. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...e4a433a5e4.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...7243cc3e49.jpg

How easy was that? How did it feel when you buried the screw to hold it down while routing? It looks perfect!
Not bad at all. Thanks yeah I was impressed how nice that stuff machines.
I pre-drilled, countersank and stuck a couple spax MDF screws in so she wouldn't budge. Works great. Had template tape underneath as well too.
It was a good bit softer than I expected. I found a medium to zippy speed and good push-through speed was best with a short 1/4" deep passes at a time. Faster push through to keep it from melting and seemed to throw the nicest chips.
